Individual product coding
During the primary stage of the packaging process, codes are being printed on individual products. Because a relatively high number of individual products are involved, high coding speeds are required. Products for human consumption often involve a best before date and a barcode. Industrial production lines often also print serial numbers, detection points or logos in addition to barcodes. For variable coding, Inkjet and Thermal Transfer can be used. If coding does not change often, Hotprint and Hot Solid Inks are a reliable and economical alternative.
